Four Teams Battle for Final Places in 2024 President Federation Cup

Finalists will emerge today from two centers in the 2024 President Federation Cup for men.

Top tier sides Abia Warriors and Kano Pillars will collide in one of the semi finals slated for the Lafia City Stadium while Kebbi United are up against El-Kanemi Warriors at the NFF/FIFA Goal Project in Abuja.

Both games will commence at 4pm.

In the women’s category multiple champions Rivers United, Naija Ratels, Remo Stars Ladies and Delta Queens are through to the semifinals after wins in yesterday’s quarterfinals.

To progress to the last 4, Rivers hammered Osun Babes 5-0 in Enugu, Ratels saw off Robo Queens 5-4 in a penalty shootout after sores stood at 1-1 in normal time while Delta cut Sunshine Queens to size, 2-0.

Elsewhere, Remo Ladies dumped out veteran campaigners Nasarawa Amazons 3-2 on penalties after both teams battled to a 1-1 stalemate in normal time.

Both the men’s and women’s finals will hold on 29 June 2024 at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.
